A good quality 6W plug-in power supply from Ideal Power. This PSU from the 25HK-U series is supplied with a UK plug adaptor that is interchangeable with Euro, Australia and USA adaptors (supplied separately).

The PSU has the unique ability to be used as a desktop PSU as well, without the adaptor fitted, (requires C8 lead, figure 8).

A very versatile power supply

This is a great unit - and it doesn't just have to be used for PC's. I employed it to good use in powering a stripboard circuit I had made at college, by using a common PCB connector pin. 12V dc supply voltage at 500mA, just what it says on the box.
