Adafruit 2217 Audio FX Sound Board WAV / OGG Trigger 16MB 2x2W Stereo Amp

This simple, low cost sound board is the easiest and most cost effective way of adding audio and sound effects to a project without using an Arduino or shield. The board is easy to use and does not require any programming. The board has high quality sound with 44.1KHz 16 bit stereo and a 2 x 2W stereo Class D amplifier that can drive 4 to 8 ohm speakers, up to 2.2W with only 1% distortion.

There is 16MB of storage built-in and also a USB port for connection to external storage devices. The decoding hardware can handle any bit/sample rate and mono or stereo and the sound board has 11 triggers with provison for connection up to 11 buttons or switches, each one capable of triggering audio files to play. Ideal for props, costumes, toys, and other small portable projects.
