This Book and CD explain in detail how Light Stitches components can be
used to add LED lights to your high visibility clothing to increase its
effectiveness. An extension to the Light Stitches projects, the Light Stitches 2
project uses a sewable LED board to attach up to 15 LEDs to textiles. The
project involves attaching LEDs to three road safety straps (not included),
utilising conductive thread, a sewable LED Board and readily available
electronic components. This project is aimed at year 9s but potentially could be
used for year 10s, Diploma students or the gifted and talented.
The booklet includes a 10 week Scheme of Work, Lesson Plans, Research,
Worksheets, Extension suggestions, etc.
