This Recom 1W DC/DC Converter has been especially designed for IGBT driver circuits.

The R05P05S/R8 has an asymmetric output of +5V DC making it ideal to power IGBT drivers, so now just one converter is needed where previously two were required. The module is supplied with an input voltage of 5V DC and offers up to 6.4kVDC/1sec isolation. The converter operates reliably at temperatures between -40°C and +90°C without derating and with an efficiency of up to 75%.

This R05P05S/R8 converter has a reinforced isolation making it ideal for medical and safety applications where approved isolation is required.
