The Ansmann 16 Plus is an intelligent charger designed to be speedy but not to the detriment of your rechargeable batteries. On insertion into the Energy 16, your batteries are tested to see what type of suitable charge should be applied and charging commences automatically.
The charger is ideal for 1 to 12 AAA or AA cells or mixed, 1 to 6, C cells or D cells, as well as, 1 to 2, 9V batteries. The charger will automatically diagnosis the condition of the inserted cells with an automatic start of the refreshing process and/or pre-charging process, if required. The charger also has 2x USB charging sockets.
The Energy 16 plus has a microprocessor controlled charging function, multiple over charging protection, battery full detection, individual supervision of each cell position, faulty cell detection, alkaline battery detection and automatic switch to trickle charge. The charger is ideal for worldwide use, due to electronic switch mode power supply and interchangeable power supply.
