This BD-R 25GB 6x wide white thermal printable no ID brand from Verbatim is a blank Blu-ray disc that offers 3 to 5 times the storage capacity of a standard recordable DVD disc, enabling the recording and playback of high definition video (HD). The wide white thermal re-transfer disc has a white surface for thermal re-transfer printing up to the hub with a printable diameter of 21-118/117mm. Compatible with Rimage Everest and TEAC P55 printers.

The benefit of having a blue laser with a shorter wavelength of 405nm means it is possible to write smaller data pits and therefore vastly increase the amount of data on the disc - compared with the wavelength of 650nm for DVD (red laser).
