Developed from the industry standard TCP series 'magnastat' irons, the FE50 M UK offers the same performance, but with built-in fume extraction tube.
- Fitted with 3m of extraction tubing and 3m of silicone power cable which is terminated in a standard Bulgin-type miniature 3-way socket
- Temperature is varied by changing soldering tips/adaptors
- New irons are supplied with a PT7 adaptor (370°C) and an LTM soldering tip and can accept any of the LT series tips
- Older irons were supplied with a PTAA7 (370°C) soldering tip and can accept any of the PT series tips
- Older irons can be adapted to take LT series tips by buying an adaptor (see 85-4682 range)
- Newer irons can be adapted to take PT series tips by removing the adaptor and buying a suitable barrel, (85-5504)
