Q. Are tere any teacher notes and guidance to go with the stereo audio amplifier. I have been asked to introduce electronics at key stage 3 and I am very rusty with regard to this subject as it really isn't my area. Thanking you in anticipation.
A. Thanks for your enquiry Joe. The info you require should be in the product datasheet: https://www.rapidonline.com/pdf/70-0198T_v2.pdf

Q. Hi, if i got this product and another small circuit board with 2 tact buttons for volume up and down where would i wire them into on this audio amp circuit board? Thanks
A. Thanks for your enquiry Jason. As there are no spare connections on the chip or spares on the board the only real way you may be able to do this is on the speaker connection, you may be able to modify this out put for a volume control.

12 April 2012 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 70-0198
Q. Will these mp3 amplifiers work on 6V supply, i.e 4 x AA in a cell holder with press stud connectors?
A. Hi Alex, these kits are operated with battery supplies between 4.5 & 12V so 6V will be fine.

19 February 2012 Question by: Rapid Customer
Q. Hi There, Can a potentiometer be introduced in the circuit to control the volume? If so which on e would I need and where would it go? Thank you
A. Hi Jason, thanks for your question. A pot to control the volume would only be able to be added in the speaker cables, as there is no wire other than in the jack line. The cable would have to be split open, which can be done, and may be the best option. Something like a 65-0705 or a 65-0505 or 65-1400 would be suitable.
