The RVFM Sound Playback Module is a compact sound recording module allowing you to make a 10-second recording of your own sounds or personalised messages for use in soft toys and textile projects.

40mm diameter mylar speaker for sound quality
10 seconds worth of recording time
Recording is made by setting the slide switch to the recording position, depressing the top of the module and speaking into the microphone at the back of the unit
An LED lights during the recording period
With the slide switch set to play, depressing the top of the module plays your message back
New recording can be made by sliding the switch back to record
Battery compartment cover for easy battery changing

Q. is it possible to activate the switch without physically pressing the button down? For example: to use this product as an output device that could be activated by a PIC

A. Hi, thanks for your question. These could be activated from a pic out, but you would need to remove the switch from the module and hard wire in from the pic chip.
