The Pepper Charging Station is used with the battery charger supplied with Pepper. It automates recharging and gives the Pepper robot its independence.
Instead of manually plugging in the battery charger every time Pepper wants a charge, you simply connect the battery charger to the charging station and Pepper can charge itself.
After configuring the charging station, the Pepper robot can charge itself in three different ways:
When Pepper's battery level is low (around 15%), it will automatically go to its charging station. (You can set Pepper to leave its charging station before the battery reaches 100% if you want to shorten the battery charging time)
By responding to your vocal command, such as: 'Go to your charging station' and 'Leave your charging station'
By using charging hours that you can activate and configure. The charging hours are a time-frame during which Pepper isn't required and is allowed to use its charging station. In this mode, The Pepper robot does not leave its charging station before the end time, even if you ask it to by using a vocal command
