Smart Bear is a protected multi-functional plush design project that
students make from recycled fleece. When folded he is everyone's favourite teddy
bear, he can also be used as a hand muff. The panel on his tummy (the part the
students' design) is painted using thermo chromatic pigments, therefore at 27°
certain parts of the design will disappear or change colour. When unfolded he
becomes a small blanket and the opposite side is a changing mat.
