This was a replacement for a similar model which we've had for a number of years but conked out. The new one arrived promptly and worked just as expected. If anything the light is a little brighter than the old one. We live in the country so moving about at night especially if trying not to put lights on and wake people can be a problem which this solved admirably.

The nightlight provides a soft glow that allows you to see at night, without disturbing anyone else in the same room. I found this great when getting up in the night to feed my baby - I didn't have to turn on any other lamps so didn't disturb my sleeping husband.
