This Rocket Launcher is a working device that helps students to visualise the principle of action and reaction forces.

A 2 Litre plastic bottle (not included) is used as a rocket. Students can create a variety of rocket designs using empty fizzy drink bottles as part of a design and make project. The launch pad has a solid, durable metal base and is equipped with a simple triggering mechanism. It is powered by an standard foot pump and can launch the rocket to surprising heights.

Q. Hi.. Can you supply dimensions and weight for the launcher please? Furthermore, can you remotely launch using a cord and is there any way of fixing this to the ground?

A. Hi Oft, thank you for your question. 3kg approx. base is 30 x 25cm and this is classed as a classroom launcher. There is no fixing holes and we would not recommend changing the trigger mechanism.
