CPC
The Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) is a successful procurement service for higher education institutions in the UK.
The CPC aims to provide excellent value for money for its members by agreeing preferential terms with approved educational suppliers, such as Rapid. Colleges belonging to the scheme can buy products and services at significant discounts to those available in traditional trading agreements.
BESA
The British Educational Suppliers Association has over 300 members which include manufacturers and distributors of equipment, materials, books, consumables, furniture, technology, ICT hardware and digital content - all to the education market. BESA members supply to UK and international markets, across the curriculum and at all levels from early years to FE and vocational training. BESA members offer buyers peace of mind by subscribing to a Code of Practice.
Design and Technology Association
The Design and Technology Association is the recognised professional association which represents all those involved in design and technology education and associated subject areas. The Design and Technology Association is an educational charity (registration number 1062270) and a company limited by guarantee (registration number 3089012). The objective of the association is to "promote the advancement of education and in particular but not exclusively to support, encourage, promote, develop and maintain design and technological education in all its branches".
The Association for Science Education
The Association for Science Education is a dynamic community of teachers, technicians and other professionals supporting science education and is the largest subject association in the UK. The ASE is an independent and open forum for debate and a powerful force to promote excellence in science teaching and learning, with unique benefits for members. Rapid is a corporate member of the ASE and exhibit at the ASE Annual Conference.
Young Engineers
Young Engineers is a UK charity dedicated to inspiring young people with an interest in engineering through a network of extra-curricular school clubs. Rapid offer all schools involved in Young Engineers a 10% discount.
