Morphun square bricks are the same size as the traditional mid size bricks and are 100% compatible with traditional squares, but Morphun have added dozens more ways of joining the bricks, and added a triangle. This makes it possible to make far more shapes from the same number of pieces. One can also make circles curves spirals and gears that were never possible with traditional sets.
