The Atmel AT91SAM-ICE is an in-circuit JTAG emulator that has been designed to support any Atmel AT91 ARM7/ARM9 core microcontroller, including Thumb mode.

SAM-ICE has a built-in 20-pin JTAG connector, which is compatible with the standard 20-pin connector defined by ARM, thus simplifying connection to the target system. Connection to the host system PC is via USB.

With features such as JTAG connection, plug and play compatibility, multiple device testing ability, and seamless integration into the IAR Workbench compiler and debugger, this device is an invaluable tool for supporting compatible microcontrollers.
