The digimess SG100 is a very competitively priced microprocessor controlled RF signal generator. The unit covers the frequency 100kHz to 150MHz ( 450MHz 3rd harmonic ) in 6 ranges. A fine adjust control allows precise frequency selection and the set frequency is displayed by a 4 digit LED readout.

The generator also includes both internal and external AM and FM modulation as well as an audio signal output. The SG100 is supplied with operating manual, BNC lead and mains lead.

Q. hi would this unit be suitable for the alignment of say an fm IF stage on a radio?

A. Hi Roy. Thank you for your question. This RF signal generator could be used as one way of tuning specific parts on a radio set up. There are a few ways this can be done but yes it could be used.
