This circuit is very important as it features heavily in KS4 curriculums. It has been designed to have more than one possible outcome and therefore more than one application. It allows for good differentiation. A training system, 70-6038, is also available for use alongside this project to assist students with making important design decisions.
Uses a dual power supply
The point at which the output changes state can be changed with a variable reference resistor
