A pair of wooden bongos of 6.5in (165mm) and 7.5in (190mm) diameter that have a stain-banded finish and chrome hardware. These bongo drums are single-headed, open-ended drums connected via a wooden cross beam. The size of drums give them a higher pitched sounds compared to the sound of conga drums.
Although most often played using the fingers and palms, where the drums are held behind the knee, these percussion instruments may also be stand mounted and played by hand or with drumsticks. Different tones and muted sounds may be obtained by placing part of the hand on the batter head to act as a damper while striking it.
Supplied with tuning key for tuning via standard drum tension rods
