The Xenyx 802 Mixing Console from Behringer is a high quality, ultra-low noise, high headroom console that is perfect for use as a mixer for a wide range of applications. Feature boutique-quality Xenyx mic preamps with +48V phantom power (for use with both dynamic or condenser microphones) and also features 'British' style EQ, popular due to its perceived performance in terms of sound quality.

As well as mixing live performances, this consoles can also be used to play pre-recorded material using the RCA connector CD/Tape inputs and both units are a portable and practical way to obtain optimum sound quality and sound control in small venues.

This mixer has 8-inputs and a 2-bus effects facility that enables the send and return of signal via an external fx processor. The CD/Tape inputs are assignable to Main mix or Control Room/Headphones output. A recording output is also possible using the RCA outputs. This unit is especially suitable for multiple vocalists, choirs, folk duos, coffee shops and karaoke lounges.

Superb mixers from the Behringer stable

I bought this mixer and 2 pairs of Behringer headphones to test some low-noise microphone preamps which I was designing recently. I was VERY surprised at the excellent noise performance of the mixer, along with the fact that it has a extremely flexible range of inputs and outputs. The unit is well documented, easy to use and very well priced.
