Q-Max Circular Sheet Metal Punches


Hand-operated sheet metal punches, providing the easiest and quickest way of punching holes in sheet metal up to 16 gauge mild steel.

  • Punching operation is performed by simply assembling the punch into a pilot hole and tightening with an allen key
  • Punches can be used anywhere – no electrical or compressed air supply is required
  • Ideal for cutting holes for switches, chassis sockets, electrical boxes, panel meters, pipework, large cables/looms, etc.
  • Suitable allen keys are available separately, please see Technical Specification
  • Optional thrust races (bearings) are recommended for use with the larger sizes (above 31mm/1in) to reduce the operating torque

Q Hi. Is this the 3 point punch or the older 2 point punch?

Q Hi I need to make two size holes 16mm and 20mm which QMax should I order
A Hi Bill. Thank you for your question. The 16 and 20mm would be the most suited for this application: 85-5306 and 86-5310.
