01 October 2018 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 19-8903
Q. Hello there, I have an old keyboard, and an old mouse, both with PS2 fittings, which I want to use with a new laptop that only has USB. i see that you have different adaptors, but is says about the keyboard being 'supported'. What does this mean? You also have an adaptor that can have both the keyboard and mouse through 1 USB. I assume the same question applies, but I am also told that this would not work, as they essentially do different things?? I am confused. Can you clarify? Regards
A. Hi Paul, thank you for your question. This just refers to the old style keyboard or mouse being used with this adaptor. If two USB ports are free then the following two can be used: 19-8901 mouse and 19-8903 keyboard. If only 1 USB port is free then 19-9595 is a better option.
