Rapid is delighted to announce that it has become a franchised distributor of Cherry, the international microswitches manufacturer. After the Colchester-based distributor became part of the Conrad Group in 2013, Cherry began working
more closely with Rapid within its UK markets.
“Rapid Electronics is very ambitious and looking to expand their
presence and gain market share in the UK component distribution market,”
commented Mark Mills, European Distribution Manager at Cherry. “We are very happy to now be part of Rapid Electronics’
push in the UK market with our range of switch and sensor products.”
Rapid stocks a comprehensive range of
industrial switches,
microswitches and
toggle switches, as part of its product portfolio that now extends to 120,000 lines. “We have seen Cherry’s business with Conrad
Electronic increase year-on-year and have been pleased how things have
progressed in the UK during 2014. We are looking to expand our offer and
local stocking for 2015 in order to support
the growing demand.” says
