17 June 2013 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 60-1676
Q. is it possible to use it for 3-4kw inverter? connection will be direct to the coil.
A. Hi, thanks for your question. The coil in this relay will not handle the current as it will exceed the 10a. We recommend using a 20-30a version as a safer option.

23 January 2013 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 60-1676
Q. Hi, i want the loads i have sized with the inverter i have installed to be using the Mains, only the batteries would be used during power brownout as an emergency system. Batteries would be charged by the Solar Panels during the day. So i'm asking how would i connect the 230Vac DPDT Relay?
A. Hi Kodi. Thank you for your question. The circuit diagram of the mentioned relay is on page 3 of the data sheet. You would need some sort of isolation switch or the system will simply switch over as soon as voltage is detected which would be constant, from the battery.

03 March 2012 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 60-1676
Q. Hi. I want to switch (on-off) two 2kW electric heaters from a thermostat which will only carry 3 amp at 240 volts. Will this unit take a 240 volt input and allow two separate loads of 8-10 amps at 240 volts? If not can you suggest an alternative, please. Also, what base plate do I need for these? Many thanks. Don.
A. Thanks for your enquiry Don. Yes they will handle 10a per contact and the base you require is rapid code 60-1677
