Lead Free solder

Reviewed by: Mr John Godsland - 24 July 2015
In many years I have used a variety of lead free solder from all of the usual brands and catalogue suppliers, including some quite expensive types with a high silver content. I have never bought the same type twice - finding most difficult to use, poor flow, including wicking through plated holes, difficult to re melt - and dull looking joints. So I was very surprised to find the Rapid lead free solder so nice to use - with attractive shiny joints - and good flowing properties. I will certainly re-order this type when my reel runs out!
