The LM384N is a power audio power amplifier for consumer applications. Gain is internally fixed at 50dB. A unique input stage allows inputs to be ground referenced. The output is automatically self-centering to one half the supply voltage. Applications include simple phonograph amplifiers, intercoms, line drivers, teaching machine outputs, alarms, ultrasonic drivers, TV sound systems, AM-FM radio, small servo drivers, power converters, etc.

Q. I am making an MP3 amplifier and I am using a LM384 5W Audio Power Amplifier. What transformer would you recommmend for this?
A. Hi Vithurshan. Thank you for your question. You have a option dependent on how you are making this so either 88-3795 for AC or 85-2953 for a Dc power supply. The datasheet attached to this product contains a circuit diagram.
