The Alpha Wire 6715S Solid 18AWG Eco Wire Slate 305m is the latest revolution in
the Alpha Wire hook-up wire range, achieving expanded functionality over
standard PVC-based hook-up wire, while providing designers a remarkable wiring
alternative.
The unique Eco Wire, with solid tinned copper conductors,
yields significant space and weight savings over PVC counterparts, while
offering ten times better abrasion and pinch resistance. On top of that, the
Alpha Wire EcoWire additionally meets RoHS and WEEE requirements for the
elimination of hazardous substances and recyclability as every application is
critical – cable and wire failure is not an option when the safety of equipment
and personnel is paramount.
Rated for operating temperatures up to
105°C, EcoWire meets UL VW-1 and is ideal for many applications including
improving the speed and quality of signal transmissions in computing, avionics,
telecommunications, and applications in harsh environments.
With an outer
diameter of just 1.50mm and super-thin strands, the new Eco Wire has been
cleverly designed to deliver each and every time, while representing excellent
value.
