This little piezo transducer is perfect for PICAXE projects. Just connect straight to an output and use with the 'sound' or 'tune' command. Don't forget to remove the little sticker once it's soldered in place otherwise it will muffle the sound. The pin spacing is about 0.3" or 7.5mm which is ideal for PCB mounting and fits straight into the AXE118 PICAXE 20 project board.
Perfect buzzer for Arduino projects

If you are looking for a buzzer that will work well with the Arduino Tone library, you've found it! Not the cheapest piezo ever, but product quality is good, size is small and the sound has a good volume. Coupled with a small ceramic cap (e.g. 100nF) you can connect them to an Arduino digital pin and bleep and bloop to your hearts content
