Bought to provide an audible indication of a selected option via morse code. It's actually a very loud device. Still works despite me having connected it backwards and appears to be mechanically robust - can't really ask for more. It would be perfect in one of those devices that chirps randomly when you put the lights out, you know, the one to drive someone nuts ...
