This switch with built-in PIR sensor from Timeguard automatically detects motion and turns the light on, turning it off again after a time adjustable from 6 seconds to 12 minutes.

Q. will this pir switch fit a standard back box

A. Hi Bernard, thanks for your question. According to the manufacturer this is not suitable for outdoor use.

Q. Is this a 2-wire or 3-wire product 2-wire directly replaces a light switch, 3-wire has to have an additional neutral wire as well

Not suitable for LED lights

I have purchased two switches. They do not work with LED bulbs or LED lights. I had to downgrade light source to upgrade switch... Once OLD bulbs are installed switches work OK.
