Q. Which tip(s) come with the Xytronic 168-3CD? Is there a suitable chisel tip of around 2.0mm to 2.5mm? WIll be used for guitar wiring and electronics. Many thanks.
A. Hi A Bagshaw. Thank you for your question. This soldering station is supplied with a 207 soldering iron which is supplied with a 1.6mm conical tip. The range of tips can be found here.

Q. Looking at the bullet points i noticed it says "no need to swap soldering tips" does this mean that it isnt possible to change the tips of the iron?
A. Hi David. Thank you for your question. Some irons such as the Weller TCP can only change temperature by changing the tip. Temperature selection is via a rotary control on the front panel so there is no need to swap soldering tips. This would be where you need to change temperature but not the tip. You can of course change the tip for a different shape or for a new tip.
