Cliff WF2 Assembly Jig

This WF2 assembly jig from Cliff is ideally suited to prototyping and small batch production. Manufactured to a high standard using extruded aluminium and supplied complete with centre and two sliding rails, which can be adjusted to accommodate a wide range of PCB sizes.

The board retention bars are spring-loaded to facilitate easy insertion and removal of PCBs - essential in a busy production environment - while the hinged lid, with 25mm thick non-conductive antistatic foam and adjustable height controls, accepts a wide range of component sizes and shapes. Upon closing the lid, the components are all held firmly in position allowing the workframe to be inverted, component leads cut, and then soldered.

The angle of the working surface can be continuously adjusted via a sliding mechanism housed in the base of the jig, while recessed holes are provided enabling the jig to be permanently secured to the working surface. Bench mounting clamps are also supplied.
