Design & Build an Environmentally Friendly Model Vehicle
Toyota Manufacturing UK and Rapid invited teams from across the UK to take part in this year's Toyota Technology Challenge - an educational, fun and affordable schools' national technology competition, aimed at Key stage 3 & 4 students (aged 11-16).
There were two categories to the challenge: Solar Power and PIC Microcontroller. The challenge was to design and build an environmentally friendly model vehicle for the chance to win up to £1,000 in cash for the school, trophies, certificates and, for the best of the best in each category, a 6 day trip to Greece.
