This light curtain is a 24 beam device that provides a protective height of 480mm over an operating range of 0.1 to 3m and a minimum sensing object of Ø25mm. The light curtain is part of the SF4C range of Type 4 light curtains that combine high end machine safeguarding performance with an ultra-slim enclosure that is easy to set up and use and does not involve any sacrifice in productivity. The compact dimensions allow the curtain to fit efficiently into small machinery while maximising usable working space for the operator. Large built-in multi-purpose indicators provide wide visibility indications that are customisable for various applications.
The system is easy to set up with beam-axis alignment function and the built-in safety circuit does not require a safety relay. A built-in muting function is provided that can distinguish between an object and a person crossing the light curtain so that productivity need not be interrupted. The light curtains also have a function that reduces mutual interference. The system is designed to reduce the number of malfunctions caused by extraneous light.
