I've returned to photosensitive board technology for my 1- or 2-off PCB requirements after some years struggling with Maplin's Press-n-Peel technology ... and I'm really impressed. I used Rapid's Jetstar inkjet-compatible film, Maplin's exposure unit (cheaper than Rapid's), Rapid's developer crystals, etch solution from an external source, and Rapid's tinning crystals. Easy to use; stunning results.

Have used these for many years, usually with excellent results, have had a couple of boards with poor edge coating, Rapid put me in touch with the manufacturer, who sent me replacements, and a couple of extra boards too, and I still have the "defective" ones I can use for smaller boards. All round excellent service.

Always get predictable results with this board however, as noted in another review, the photoresist coating 5mm-10mm around the board edge is unpredicatable. If you have a eurocard sized PCB to produce this can be problematic. While some boards are better than others at the edge you cant tell this until youve peeled the protective film back.
