Q. Do we have to us this tank in fume cupboard, if not what about the fumes when the chemical is heated, and when we are inspecting the boards, if etched or not.
A. Hi Ghanshyam. Thank you for your question. A safety sheet for ferric chloride says a well ventilated area, so a place where you can open windows may be sufficient. A wall mounted extractor fan near the tank would be another possibility.

Q. Does this product need to be attached to mains water supply and waste? I am in a situation where I need an etch tank but do not have access to any water supply. If this product does not meet my requirements can you suggest an alternative?
