Magnet Paint is a new and improved water-based emulsion paint that contains very fine ferrous powder to which magnets will hold.
The paint is best applied with a sponge roller, or for a smoother surface, apply quite thickly and then smooth off with a trowel. A minimum of three coats is recommended, but adding more coats will increase the magnetic receptivity, especially if larger or heavier items are required to be hung. Once dry, you can paint over it with any emulsion colour of your choice, including blackboard paint.
Magnet Paint is water-based, non-toxic and is VOC and lead free. The paint itself is not a magnet, but has magnetic properties that create a surface to which magnets will hold, so it is safe to use in your home, school or office and will not affect your computer, television, video or any other magnet-sensitive equipment.

Please note that this product is not intended for use by children. It should be applied in the same way, and by the same staff, as conventional wall paint.
