Electronic components manufacturer Bourns has announced the launch of its new range of terminators, which feature its Stripline technology.
Expanding its series of fixed resistors, the firm is including a line of 1kW, 50-ohm radio frequency (RF) terminators, which operate at 1GHz.
Designed for next-generation applications such as high power transmitting stations and digital terrestrial television, the CHF190104KxBF500L devices can help decrease the number of interconnections needed in a system.
Cathal Sheehan, product marketing manager for the Bourns resistive products division, said: "The new Bourns RF Power Termination offers a powerful combination of high power and high return loss up to 1GHz, making it one of the leading Stripline terminations on the market today."
Joint firm TT Electronics Welwyn Components recently released a new family of precision high-voltage planar resistors which have a range of five to 40 kV.
The devices are available in a choice of axial or radial configurations, designed for application in microscopes, x-ray equipment, geophysical probes and semiconductor processing, among others.
