The Velleman 8-Channel relay card kit can be used in several ways, as a stand alone card, addressed by switches or open collector outputs. This unit is compatible with the 8-channel relay board K8056 (order code 70-4182), The 8-channel remote control K8058 (order code 70-4181), And the RX433 RF (order code 70-4185), Receiver module. The Velleman 8-channel relay card is also available as a pre-assembled module.

Quite easy to build with straightforward kit ... very reliable in operation .... internet written operating software not so efficient but once commands understood software simple and easy to write in Quick Basic. Can also be controlled by data read decimal or binary number ... relay reaction time slow but ideal for operating mains equipment. A good buy that will give good value. Good application could be lighting, model train control or similar.
