EcoWire™ is a new range of environmentally friendly Hook-Up wire, using a flexible insulation alternative to PVC – Noryl modified polyphenylene ether (mPPE). Inherently lighter, tougher, smaller and more flame resistant than PVC, mPPE is non-halogenic and contains no heavy metal pigments. EcoWire meets RoHS and WEEE requirements for the elimination of hazardous substances and recyclability. Over 50% of the PC manufacturing market have committed to replacing PVC insulated wire with greener alternatives such as EcoWire.
