A CMOS laser displacement sensor that provides both high-precision measurement and computer-driven analysis in a single instrument. The sensor has a high resolution of 8µm and a fast response sampling rate of 200µs, with other sampling rates also selectable. Configuration and control of the sensor is via an easy-to-use digital display and setup is fast and efficient, with user-friendly adjustment of measurement parameters such as sampling and cycling options.
The sensor features three digital outputs that can be utilised to generate Hi/Go/Lo judgement signals or alarm outputs. Two analog outputs are also provided that can be used in both current and voltage modes. Memory switching function stores up to four sets of data that may be fast recalled. The compact design, built-in controller and comprehensive features enable the sensor to be easily embedded in machines and production lines, such as installation on robot arms and in confined spaces.
