An ultra compact amplifier unit, terminated by a 2m cable, that is intended to be used with digital fiber sensors. The multipurpose unit is easy to read and features simplicity of use, with three levels of setup functionality depending on the function type - from easily adjusted common settings to functions that are rarely touched. A dual colour LCD display makes checking of parameters quick and simple and parameter setup is via front panel keys. A two level teaching function enables factory operators to integrate the units into production with a minimum amount of time and effort.
