A pipe-mounted liquid level photoelectric detection sensor that utilises differing refractive indices to detect liquid presence in pipes. An IR LED beam is transmitted through the pipe wall and if no liquid is present the beam is reflected back to the sensor (due to the large difference in the refractive index). If liquid level is present in the pipe the IR beam is scattered, preventing it returning to the sensor. The sensor is easily mountable and has a built-in amplifier, thus saving space.
- Switchable between Light-ON (liquid absent) or Dark-ON (liquid present)
- Operation indicator
- Short-circuit protection
