Edimax EU-4306 USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet Adaptor

The EU-4306 supports USB 3.0, the latest specification of the USB standard with a maximum data transfer rate of 5 Gbit/s. USB 3.0 enables the full capacity of 10/100/1000 Mbit/s, while gigabit Ethernet can be reached via an available USB port without a gigabit Ethernet card must be installed. Supports Jumbo Frame, which can provide dramatic improvements in network performance and increase the effective bandwidth. Jumbo frames are Ethernet frames (packets) with up to 4000 bytes per frame compared to the standard with much smaller 1500 bytes for Ethernet frames. The use of larger frames means that fewer frames are transmitted through the network, thereby improving the clock frequency of the central processing unit.
