You will need to know a bit about electronics to build this amp and be sure to put the 60watt bulb in the mains supply lead at first switch on. I used a slightly larger transformer 2x 35v at 300Watts and the larger capacitors. Works well with no discernable distortion at medium levels (my ears distort at higher levels), no hum and no (discernable) hiss (noise). Used in a church hall for a 50 watt extention speaker. The amp doesn't claim to be hi-fi but is excellent for PA and Guitar. I reckon on peaks of 150watts RMS into 4 ohms (by Simulation) with the higher voltage transformer but that will not be continuous with the recommended heatsink (who sticks a continuous sine wave through an amp for more than a few seconds anyway). Forget about music power, it's a meaningless and misleading term. You will need two of these amps (and two transformers) for stereo and a pre-amp for microphones or other low level signals.

I have made up several of these for powered stage monitors. They have all worked first time and sounded very good. Some have complained about sound quality, but they seem perfectly good to me.
The kit has all parts (except transformer and heatsink) and they are presented very neatly. The leaflet identifies all the components very clearly.
You do need good soldering and construction skills - not a beginners project. Also to set them up correctly you need a sensitive millivolt meter. Although they seem to work fine anyway with the pot set at mid travel.

This is a fantastic piece of kit. The pieces are all there, requires self assembly of course but thats relatively straight forward. But before you buy this bear in mind you need to purchase a transformer or it won't work at all. But once thats all sorted and paid for, assembly is done, subwwoofer attatched.. it is mind blowing at the capacity it can give. Its a great piece of kit for a great price!
