01 April 2019 Question by: Rapid Customer | Product code: 34-0636
Q. Has this tape got a shelf life. We have some old rolls of this at our school. The tape has started lifting after 2 days, on a card we made. Kind regards Andy
A. Hi Andrew, thank you for your question. This does not appear to have any shelf life but the adhesive backing could loose tack after long periods of time dependent on how it is stored.

Useful for introductory circuits

It's very useful for building simple electrical / electronic circuits (eg: with year 7 pupils), but overlapping strips don't always conduct (the glue isn't conductive), so it's best to apply a flow of solder where the strips cross.
