These test clips are probably the best I have used. They can easily attach to a 0.5mm pitch TQFP package. Getting them connected to adjacent pins can be quite fiddly, but it is possible to do so. My only gripe I have with the kit is that the test leads are not silicone based (with 100s of wire strands) and are quite stiff. If they were silicone based, they would be perfect. Really well priced.
