The BMP180 is a very high performance atmospheric pressure sensor designed for use in applications such as smart phones, tablet devices, sports devices, etc. The sensor has a pressure range of 300 to 1100hPa and the device also features low power consumption and small size, making it ideal for installation in mobile and hand-held devices.

As part of the Bosch Sensortec range the sensor is also available mounted on a Shuttle Board that has a footprint compatible with the Bosch Evaluation and Application Base Board (35-1620). This evaluation board delivers a universal demonstration and development environment for the sensor and allows full interface with a PC.

Q. How big is the sensor? Dimensions?
A. Hi Wowman, thank you for your question. The data sheet shows the dimensions are 3.6 x 3.8 x 0.9mm.
