The USBpulse100 is a PC based pulse/clock generator that has a maximum 100MHz frequency output. Being a PC based unit delivers many benefits including flexibility, ease of use and economy. The unit combines a very small form factor with the high performance and features normally associated with much larger and more expensive bench instruments. This unit will be an invaluable tool during the design and debugging of digital circuits and can be used to quickly test the behaviour of a circuit under varying input frequency and duty cycle conditions. A feature of this unit, and with the other units in the Elan USB range, is the ability to be stacked together. This facility means that, for example, two USBpulse100 units may be stacked together to create a dual channel generator that has outputs that are synchronised and phase shifted. Furthermore it is possible to stack together differing types of test equipment so that any combination of test requirements, e.g. a synchronised pulse generator
