An innovative pocket device for determining the presence of an AC voltage, from 220 to 1500V.

  • Extremely compact, styled in the format of a large pen
  • The nylon tip of the unit glows red when a voltage is detected
  • Due to the unique design of the detector there is no need for current to be flowing or contact to be made with the circuit to activate the unit
  • The device is particularly useful for finding breaks in power cables, checking plug wiring, checking plug fuses, distinguishing between live and neutral and locating faulty switches and components (i.e. lamps etc)
  • An extremely versatile instrument that will find a ready home in a service engineers toolbox
